The Miss Earth Belgium pageant is a national beauty pageant of Belgium and has been held since 2014. It is responsible for selecting the country's representative to the Miss Earth, which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness.[1][2][3]

The current titleholder is Elizabeth Dwomoh who was crowned in 2014.

History

2002-2013: Early years

Belgium debuted in Miss Earth in 2002 and the franchise has been in the hands of Miss Benelux until 2011. Miss Belgium International acquired the franchise from 2011 until 2013. Miss Earth Belgium delegate has been selected by appointment or casting calls.

2014-present: Miss Exclusive

Miss Exclusive acquired the franchise of Miss Earth and is considered to be the biggest pageant across Belgium. It was created in 2009 and the main winner gets to compete in an international pageant. In an interview conducted by Sashfactor, a pageant forum site, the pageant owners, Jeremy Rizzi and Ken Stevens, took over the said franchise and said, "We chose to be the license holder for Belgium because Miss Earth is one of the best Miss pageants in the world. We all have to be aware of the environment and Miss Earth is the only pageant who takes care of that. It will be a challenge to put Belgium on the map during the Miss Earth pageant because my previous license holders didn't to much effort to make it huge in Belgium and around the world."

Traditionally, the winner of Miss Exclusive gets the title of Miss Earth Belgium and competes in the international Miss Earth pageant. The first runner up is being sent to Miss Grand International.

The first product of Miss Exclusive for Miss Earth is Emily Vanhoutte.
