Miss Asia Pacific 1983 is the 16th edition of Miss Asia Quest. This events was back to Manila, Philippines again, and was held in July 8 with a participation from 14 countries. Gloria Aranas Dimayacyac of Philippines was crowned as Miss Asia Pacific 1983. It was the first time back to back victories in Miss Asia Pacific International history: Gloria Aranas Dimayacyac of Philippines, was crowned Miss Asia Pacific 1983 by outgoing titleholder Maria del Carmen Ines Zaragoza.
