Miroslav Šarić (Chinese: 美路史拿域; born 7 February 1986 in Zagreb, Croatia), is a Croatian professional footballer who plays for Eastern.
Club career
Croatia
On 15 December 2004, he made his debut for Dinamo Zagreb as an 83rd-minute substitute during the UEFA Cup group match against VfB Stuttgart. Since then, he didn't feature any matches for Dinamo Zagreb.
His name started to become popular in local when he was playing for NK Inter Zaprešić, when he featured 13 matches and scored 5 goals, which he was the joint top scorer of the team, in his last season at the club, the 2009–10 season.
He joined another top division club NK Lučko in the summer of 2011. He was one of the key player of the club in that season, making 16 starts and scored 3 goals, although his good performance could not help the team survive from relegation. He left the club after the season.
Hate crime
In year 2010 Šarić and his brother Miroslav, driven by pure hate, without a cause whatsoever brutal beat Croatian war veteran because of his homosexuality. For this hate crime he was sentenced to a term of imprisonment for a period of 7 months.[1]
Hong Kong
On 17 August 2012, Saric joined Hong Kong First Division League club Biu Chun Rangers for an undisclosed fee.[2]
On 1 September 2012, He scored a goal on his debut match against Southern, which he started as an attacking midfielder and played for the whole match.
He was released on 4 June 2014.[3]
For 2014/15 he played for Eastern AA.[4]
