Mirante do Paranapanema

Coordinates: 22°17′31″S 51°54′23″W / 22.29194°S 51.90639°W / -22.29194; -51.90639 Mirante do Paranapanema is a city in the state of São Paulo, located to the west in the state, in the region of Presidente Prudente in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 16744 and the area is 1240.9 km ². The altitude is 448 m. Paranapanema comes from the Tupi language, and it's a large river that separates the state of São Paulo to southern Brasil.
