Minuscule 567 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), α 363 (Soden),[1] also known as the Empress Theodora's Codex. It is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament, on parchment, dated palaeographically to the 13th century.[2] The manuscript is very lacunose. Formerly it was labelled by 120a and 141p.[3] The manuscript is lacunose.

Description

The codex contains the text of Acts of the Apostles, Pauline epistles on 243 parchment leaves (size 24.5 cm by 16.8 cm) with numerous lacunae. Written in one column per page, 22 lines per page.[2] It contains Prolegomena, tables of the κεφαλαια are given before every book, lectionary markings, αναγνωσεις (lessons), subscriptions at the end of each book, and numbers of στιχοι.[4]

The order of books: Acts, Pauline epistles (Philemon, Hebrews), Catholic epistles.[4]

The Greek text of the codex Aland did not place in any Category.[5] It has several an unusual readings.[4]

History

The manuscripts was examined and described by Johann Martin Augustin Scholz, Henri Omont.[4]

The codex now is located at the National Library of France (Gr. 103A) at Paris.[2]
