Minuartia patula, common name Lime-barren Sandwort, is an annual plant in the carnation family (Caryophyllaceae). It is native to sections of eastern North America, where it is found on limestone outcrops and in rocky barrens and glades. It is a small, delicate annual species that has produces white flowers in the spring that quickly wilt.
This species is highly variable throughout its range, and multiple varieties have been named.
