Minoru Harada (原田 稔 Harada Minoru, born 1941) is a Japanese Buddhist leader. He became the sixth president of the Soka Gakkai[1] in 9 November 2006 following the resignation of Einosuke Akiya from the position.[2]
He attended Tokyo Metropolitan Bunkyo High School (now Tokyo Metropolitan Bunkyo Secondary Education School). He studied economics at the University of Tokyo. According to Soka Gakkai, he was a left-wing protester in the 1960s.[3]
