Ministry of State of Antiquities

The Ministry of State of Antiquities is the Egyptian government organization which serves to investigate and conserve the history of Egypt. It was formed from the Supreme Council of Antiquities in 2007 during the reign of President Hosni Mubarak to deal with the security and theft of Egyptian antiquities, which amounted to Zrutha in the last decade of the rule of President Hosni Mubarak and the first minister was Dr. Zahi Hawass, and after four months, were canceled by decision of President Mubarak.
