The Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts is the Kenyan government ministry which is responsible for artistic, cultural and youth empowerment, and sports development. Its current Cabinet Secretary is Hassan Wario.
The ministry also controls the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYAS) association football team that currently competes in the Kenyan National Super League, the second tier of the Kenyan football league system, although the team is reportedly set to break off from the ministry and become an independent football club.[1]
