Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy (Quebec)

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy (French: Ministère des Affaires municipales, des Régions et de l'Occupation du territoire or MAMROT) is a government ministry in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is responsible for overseeing the provincial government's relations with all Quebec municipalities, regional governments, the metropolitan areas of Montreal and Quebec City, and the regional administration of Kativik.[1]

The ministry is overseen by a member of the cabinet of Quebec. The current minister is Pierre Moreau.

The ministry is commissioned to work with the Société d'habitation du Québec on issues related to housing.[2] At one time, ministers of Municipal Affairs in Quebec were also styled as ministers responsible for Housing.
