The Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation (Swedish: Näringsdepartementet), often shortened to Ministry of Enterprise, is a ministry within the government of Sweden. Its areas of responsibility include economic policy and government-owned corporations, housing and new construction, information technology, postal services, regional growth and rural policy, transport and infrastructure.[2]

The ministry offices are located at the old Central Post Office Building in central Stockholm.[3]

Organization

The Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation is headed by the Minister for Enterprise and Innovation, Mikael Damberg (s). The Minister for Infrastructure, Anna Johansson (s), Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Information Technology, Mehmet Kaplan (mp), and the Minister for Rural Affairs, Sven-Erik Bucht (s), are also organised under this ministry.
