Mini footy

For the rugby union variant, see mini rugby.

Mini footy (known as mini league in Britain) is a form of rugby league developed by the Australian Rugby League. It was developed to introduce children to rugby league.

These modifications are aimed at providing a child with a safe environment, a firm knowledge of the rules of the sport and time to practice the skills such as tackling, passing and common defensive and attacking tactics.

Mod league follows on from mini footy.
