Millu (Aymara for a kind of salpeter / light brown, reddish, fair-haired, dark chestnut,[3][4] Quechua for salty,[5] hispanicized spelling Millo) is a mountain in the Willkanuta mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,500 metres (18,045 ft) high. It is situated in the Cusco Region, Canchis Province, Checacupe District, and in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, Corani District. Millu lies northwest of the large glaciated area of Rit'ipampa (Quechua for "snow plain") and west of Unu Lluqsina.[1]
