The Military Ordinariate of Slovakia (Slovak: Vojenský ordinariát) is a military ordinariate of the Roman Catholic Church. Immediately subject to the Holy See, it provides pastoral care to Roman Catholics serving in the Slovakian Armed Forces and their families.
History
The military ordinariate was established by Pope John Paul II on 20 January 2003. The Episcopal seat was located at the Cathedral of St. John of Matha and St. Felix of Valois (Katedrála sv. Jána a sv. Felixa z Valois) in Bratislava, Slovakia until 2009.
