Milan Stojanoski (Macedonian Cyrillic: Mилaн Cтojaнocки, born 15 September 1973) is a Macedonian football manager and former player. Since 2011, he was the manager of his last playing club, FK Kovačevac. After that, in March 2012 he became a coach of Radnički Pirot.[1]
Career
Born in Stari Lec, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia, he started his senior career playing with FK Proleter Zrenjanin in the First League of FR Yugoslavia where he became one of the most regular players in the league. This caught the attention of FK Partizan who grought him in 1997 and where he will play almost continuously until 2004. The only exception was a spell during the 2000-01 season which he spent playing with Israeli Premier League side Beitar Jerusalem F.C..
He left Partizan in summer 2004 after winning three national titles and one cup with them. His next destination was Cyprus, when he joined the Cypriot First Division title holders APOEL F.C. and played the 2004–05 season with them. After that season he moved to Iranian Azadegan League side Pegah F.C. who was being coached by Vinko Begović, and stayed there until 2007 when he moved to another Iranian second level club, Shahrdari Bandar Abbas F.C..[2]
In summer 2008 he returns to Serbia by signing with SuperLiga side FK Banat Zrenjanin, an incarnation of his former club Proleter after a merger with another club in 2006. Despite being well over 30, Stojanovski played 18 league matches with Banat, however, at the end of the season, the club couldn´t menage to escape relegation, subsequently releasing him. Stojanovski joined, in summer 2009, another historical Serbian club, Belgrade's FK BASK, however, in the following two years, he will represent also another two clubs, between January and December 2010 FK Lokomotiva Beograd, and during the last half of the 2010–11 season, FK Kovačevac.[3]
In summer 2011 he retired and became the manager of FK Kovačevac,.[4] After a split up with Kovačevac, he spent time playing for FK Sloga Plandište, before took over a helm in Pirot.[5]
National team
He was part of the Macedonia national football team between 1996 and 2004 gathering 26 appearances.[6]
