Milan Chovanec

Milan Chovanec (born January 31, 1970, Plzeň, Czech Republic) is a Czech politician. As of January 2014, he is the Czech Minister of Interior in the government of Bohuslav Sobotka.[1] He sits in the Chamber of Deputies for the Czech Social Democratic Party. From September 2010 to January 2014 he was the governor of Plzeň Region, and from 2002 until 2010 he was a member of Plzeň Town Council.
