Mil-OSS, also known as the Military Open Source Software Working Group, is a group that promotes the use and creation of open source software in the United States Department of Defense.[1][2] Every year, the organization hosts a conference promoting open source solutions to military problems, generally held at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.[3][4][5] Mil-OSS is considered a working group of Open Source for America.[1]
