Myron Eugene Taliaferro (born July 26, 1941 in Houston, Texas) is a former collegiate and professional American football player who led the University of Illinois to the 1964 Rose Bowl championship over Washington, 17-7.[1] He played in eight American Football League and National Football League seasons from 1964-1972 for 3 different teams, and was an AFL All-Star in 1969. In 1974 Mike signed with the Houston Texans of the World football league.
