Mike Reilly (born July 13, 1993) is an American ice hockey defenseman. He was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 4th round (98th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Reilly is currently playing for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the NCAA Men's Division I Big Ten Conference. In his sophomore year, Reilly's outstanding play was rewarded with a selection to the 2013–14 All-Big Ten First Team.[1] He is noted for a blazing shot from the point, as well as a high skill level in blocking shots.
Family
His father, Michael J. Reilly, was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the eighth round of the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft, but never played in the National Hockey League.[2]
