Mike Embach (born January 17 1988) is an American professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL.
Playing career
Embach attended Ferris State University where he played NCAA Division I college hockey with the Ferris State Bulldogs men's ice hockey team scoring 58 points in 132 career games.
Embach played the 2011–12 season with the Chicago Express of the ECHL, and on August 7, 2012, he signed a one-year contract to remain in the ECHL with the Cincinnati Cyclones for the 2012–13 season.[1]
Embach contributed with 34 points in 55 games for the Cyclones, before leading the team with 17 points in 17 post-season games to reach the conference finals. During the season, Embach was also briefly loaned for his second stint in the AHL with the Lake Erie Monsters, contributing with an assist from 2 games.[2]
On June 30, 2014, Embach was re-signed by the Fort Wayne Komets after a successful 2013–14 season in which he produced 22 goals and 41 points in 52 games.[3]
