Miguel Aguilar (born August 30, 1993) is a Mexican footballer who currently plays for D.C. United in Major League Soccer.

Career

College and Amateur

Aguilar spent his entire college career at the University of San Francisco where he made a total of 73 appearances and tallied 15 goals and 9 assists.

He also spent the 2014 season with Portland Timbers U23s in the Premier Development League.[1]

Professional

On January 15, 2015, Aguilar was drafted in the first round (17th overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United and would later sign a professional contract with the club.[2][3] He made his professional debut on February 26 in a 5-2 defeat to Alajuelense in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal.[4]
