Ownership changes
Twenty-nine locomotives were in LMS stock at the end of 1947, to be inherited by British Railways.
Disposal
No. 1385 was withdrawn in January 1948; in March the remaining 28 were allocated the BR numbers 58064-91, although several did not receive their BR numbers before their withdrawal. The last, 58065 was withdrawn in November 1959. None was preserved.
