Michael Agapitos "Mick" Michael (born 22 September 1922) is an Australian former local government politician. He was Lord Mayor of the City of Perth in the 1980s.

Early life

In 1942, Michael enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force, serving until 1946.[1]

Political career

Michael was Lord Mayor of Perth between 1982 and 1988.[2]

Honours

Michael was award the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1982 for services to local government.[3][4]

The Mick Michael Reserve, on the corner of Vincent and Charles Streets in West Perth is named after him.[5]
