Michael "Mick" Martyn (birth registered January→March 1936 (age 78–79) in Leigh, Lancashire[1]) is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s and 1960s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Leigh, as a Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums.
Playing career
International honours
Mick Martyn won caps for Great Britain while at Leigh in 1958 against Australia, and in 1959 against Australia.[2]

Genealogical information
Mick Martyn is the elder brother of the rugby league footballer Tommy Martyn, and the uncle of the rugby league footballer Tommy Martyn.[3]
