The Michigan Journal of Political Science is a biannual undergraduate academic journal of political science.

History

The journal was established in 1981 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Originally, the journal published only papers within the field of political science proper, excluding public policy, law, and other related fields. In 1991, however, the journal began expanding its focus to include other fields such as sociology, history, public policy, economics, and political philosophy, so long as they related to political affairs.

Submissions and scope

The journal accepts submissions from students attending accredited universities worldwide. Though papers may be submitted by graduate students as well as undergraduates, they must have been written as an undergraduate. Papers are selected by a blind review process.

Editors

The journal holds elections each April to determine the editorial board for the following year.
