The Michigan Air–Line Railway (reporting mark MAL) was a short-line railroad in Oakland County, Michigan. It ran from West Bloomfield, Michigan to Wixom, Michigan, where it connected to CSX. The headquarters and station are in Walled Lake, Michigan. The name is owned by Railmark Holdings, Inc.[1] The railroad ran its last dinner train on December 31, 2008.[2]

Plans have completed to remove the trackage and then sell the land to local communities for a rail trail,[3] to be named the West Bloomfield Trail.[4]

On November 12, 2009 Railmark announced that it was selling the railroad to Browner Turnout.[5]

On January 28, 2011, the railroad applied with federal officials to abandon its route from Wixom to the end of track near West Bloomfield.[6] The railroad was removed between Walled Lake and the interchange in Wixom, MI in Spring of 2012.
