Michelle Laine
Michelle Laine is an American fashion designer[1] and actress[2] based in Los Angeles, California.[3] Michelle Laine was born in San Diego, California, and is the daughter of extreme water-sports athlete Randy Laine.[2] As a designer Michelle Laine specializes in womenwear and jewelry, as well as artistic direction and costume design for film and music videos.[4]
Michelle recently played the love interest in the short film "Fake it baby, Fake it (La Dame Nature)" for American rock band Living Things, directed by Floria Sigismondi, Michelle was also the costume designer for the video.[5]
In 2012 Laine shared insight on personal style and on her role as an influential person in fashion in "City of Style: Exploring Los Angeles Fashion, from Bohemian to Rock" By Melissa Magsaysay, Harper Colins.[6] Michelle Laine's designs have been worn by Tilda Swinton,[7] Elle Fanning,[7] Marion Cotillard,[7] Katy Perry,[8] Alessandra Ambrosio,[9] Kristen Stewart,[4] Jared Leto,[10] Paris Hilton,[8] and Brandy.[4]
