Michael Mersch (born October 2, 1992) is an American ice hockey player. He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 4th round (110th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
Mersch is currently playing for the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Men's Division I Big Ten Conference. In his senior year, Mersch's outstanding play was rewarded with a selection to the 2013–14 All-Big Ten First Team.[1]
On April 1, 2014, the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) signed Mersch to a three-year entry-level contract.[2]
Family
His father, Mike Mersch, was a defenceman who played professionally in the International Hockey League.[3]
