Metsho Gewog (Dzongkha: སྨད་མཚོ་) is a gewog (village block) of Lhuntse District, Bhutan.[1][2]
Among one of the most famous Metsho Kurtoeps is Choki Wangmo from Gortshom village. Daughter of Ap Kaylzang and Aum Yangchen, she is also known as the mother of Selden Ninsel Gulung. She studied at Zangkhar and Tangmachhu. Choki Wangmo, presently at Thimphu, is expected to go to great heights like her husband Keshav Raj Gulung, of Bhutan Rebirth Tours and Treks (www.bhutanrebirth.com).
