Metasia ossealis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Staudinger in 1879. It is found in Turkey.[1]
The wingspan is 18–23 mm. The ground colour is light brown to whitish-brown. The antemedian and postmedian bands are dark brown and the median field is lighter in colour as the antemedial and postmedian fields. The hindwings are much lighter.
Taxonomy
It was resurrected from synonymy with Palepicorsia ustrinalis in 2001.[2]
