Messum's
Messum's is an art gallery in Cork Street, Mayfair, a London street with many art galleries. It was founded by David Messum in 1963,[1] and gallery exhibits British Impressionist, modern and traditional paintings, as well as contemporary art.
Artists whose work has been exhibited at the gallery include William Bowyer, Peter Brown, James Dodds, Rose Hilton, Kurt Jackson,[2] Edward Piper, John Piper [3] Guy Taplin and Jeremy Annear.
As of 2012, it is possible that development in Cork Street could cause a move for Messum's.[4] Johnie Messum, the current director of the gallery, is concerned by how the proposed development will affect the nature of Cork Street.[5]
