Mertensophryne schmidti (commonly known as Schmidt's snouted frog) is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
