Melmuri is a village in Malappuram municipality in the state of Kerala, India. The village was a part of the Kingdom of Tanur (Vettattnad) in medieval times.[1]
Today it is one of the residential areas of Malappuram city.
Demographics
As of the 2001 India census, Melmuri had a population of 18,737, of which 9,012 were males and 9,725 females.[1]
