Mellow Down Easy
Mellow Down Easy is a three-piece rock group working from Nashville, Tennessee. The band released their first album, Splendid Ms. Maizie, in 2001; and their second album, Brothers of the Left Hand Path, was released 11 May 2005.[1] The group had signed with Chromium Records of Liverpool, England, but in 2007 they signed with Nashville Noir Records.[2]
Mellow Down Easy is composed of singer–songwriter and guitarist, Andrew Adkins; singer and bass guitarist, Daryl Dasher; and drummer, Rodney Russell. In 2006, Adkins was voted as a top three "Best Local Songwriter" by Music City publication, The Nashville Scene, in their "Best of 2006 - Readers Poll" issue.[3]
In 2009 the group signed with Dualtone Records. April 2009 they released their much anticipated album, "Cosmisutra" to rave reviews.
