Melissa Hill is a former pornographic actress and director.[2] She was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2014[3] and the Legends of Erotica and XRCO Hall of Fame in 2015.[4][5]

Career

Hill began acting in adult in 1993 and appeared in more than 200 movies, for a wide variety of producers, over the next ten years until her retirement from hardcore.[3] Over the course of her career, she was nominated for several AVN Awards.[3] Hill won the Best Actress (Film) award in 1997 for Penetrator 2 (Pleasure Productions).[3] In 1998, she was named Best Supporting Actress (Film) for Paul Thomas' Bad Wives (Vivid Entertainment).[3]

In addition to Astral Ocean, Hill worked for several production companies such as Adam & Eve, Caballero Home Video, Elegant Angel, Evil Angel, Jill Kelly Productions, Leisure Time Entertainment, Ona Zee Presents, Sin City, VCA Pictures, Wicked Pictures, Wildfire Inc., the Zane Entertainment Group, and Zero Tolerance Entertainment.[1]

Mainstream appearances

Hill has also appeared in a variety of mainstream productions, most notably the porn-themed comedy Orgazmo from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.[3][6] She has acted in non-sex roles, including Beyond Fucked: A Zombie Odyssey[7] and the porn parodies Underworld[8] and Measure X.[3][9]

Hill is a San Francisco native, and she spent most of her childhood studying ballet, even becoming an instructor for five years after graduating from high school.[3]
