Melisa Can (born May 12, 1984 in Iowa) aka Michelle Campbell is a U.S. born Turkish female professional basketball player who currently plays for the Adana ASKI.

A nine-year professional basketball career that includes playing in five countries. Campbell describes her style of play as “defensive specialist, rebounder, finisher and blue-collar worker.”

In 2010, the power forward changed her name to Melisa Can for Turkish citizenship. Being a citizen made Campbell eligible to play for Turkey in international competitions.

Campbell played her collegiate basketball for Rutgers University, where she was named 2005 Big East Conference Most Improved Player and All-Big East Second Team by the MET Basketball Writers Association in addition to being named to the All-Big East Third Team by the league. As a Rutgers junior and senior, Campbell helped the Scarlet Knights reach the N.C.A.A. tournament, advancing to the Round of 8 in her junior year. Campbell averaged 8.2 points and 3.8 rebounds and a shooting percentage of 54.9 percent from the field during her collegiate career.
