Melanie Poole

Melanie Poole in an Australian film producer and founder of film production company 18° Entertainment.[1]

In 2013, Poole co-wrote and produced gangster comedy feature film Nice Package,[2] directed by Dan Macarthur and starring Dwayne Cameron, Leon Cain and Australian actress Isabella Tannock.

In 2012, Poole also produced psychological thriller The Suicide Theory,[3] starring Steve Mouzakis I Frankenstein about a suicidal man hires a demented killer to assist him in suicide, but for some reason, miraculously survives each attempt on his life.

Poole also directs, produces and presents upcoming television series Planet of Love, a series looking at how different cultures around the world view love, marriage and courtship.[4]

Poole began her career as a journalist and producer for Australia's national television breakfast program Today Show.[5]

She has also worked as a journalist for Australia ABC Radio, Channel Ten News and as a travel writer for various publications including Australia's largest circulating travel newspaper section News Ltd's ESCAPE.[6]
