Meine Seele soll Gott loben, BWV 223

Meine Seele soll Gott loben (My soul will praise God), BWV 223, is a church cantata composed by Johann Sebastian Bach in Mühlhausen around 1707.[1] The music is lost, except for the closing fugue.[2] The original reportedly included a duet aria for soprano and bass.[3]

Some sources[4] indicate the piece is spurious and probably composed by Johann Ernst Bach II.
