Mehreen Mahmud mostly known by her stage name Mehreen, is a Bangladeshi singer.

Career

Mehreen was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She sings Bangla fusion.

Mehreen began her career in 1994, and her debut album Anari was released in 2000. She is judge for the Bangladeshi Idol season 1, currently running. In 2008 she was a judge on band hunt reality show "The Band Wagon". She released a song about cricket Bangladesh National Cricket Team during 2011 Cricket World Cup titled Cup Kintu Ektai.

She completed her masters in English Literature from the University of Dhaka.
