Mehmed Pasha Bushati
Mehmed Pasha Bushati (Serbian: Mehmed-paša Bušatlija/Мехмед-паша Бушатлија) was an Ottoman governor, the sanjak-bey of the Sanjak of Scutari (known as the Pashalik of Scutari), between 1768 and 1774. He was succeeded by his son Mustafa Pasha Bushati.
History
The Bushati family claimed that it descended from the Islamized son of Lord Ivan Crnojević, Skenderbeg Crnojević.[1] That tradition strengthened the family's pretention over the Montenegro Vilayet.[1]
In 1770 he fought in Morea against Greeks and Russians, and in 1772 he and his son participated in the march on Ulcinj.[2] In 1774, in the same month of the death of Šćepan Mali,[3] he attacked the Kuči and Bjelopavlići,[4] but was decisively defeated and returned to Scutari.[3]
During his rule he managed to subdue the Arab and Berber Muslim pirates of the port cities of Bar and Ulcinj, who together with many Albanian pirates were disrupting the trade of the Italian city states with the Orient. During the Russian-Turkish War of 1768–74 he managed to become the Kapudan-i-derja of the Western Ottoman fleet.
He was succeeded by his son Mustafa Pasha Bushati.

Нарочито су ојачали Арбанаси и породица Бушатлија у Скадру. Мехмед Бушатлија је 1770 ратовао у Мореји против Грка и Руса, а 1772 заједно са сином Мустафом учествовао у походу Улцињана.
