American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has released four studio albums, two EPs and three singles. Trainor initially self-released three albums; Meghan Trainor (2008), I'll Sing with You and Only 17 (2011). However, when she signed to Epic Records in February 2014,[1] all three albums were pulled from circulation in the build-up to her major-label debut.[2] Following her recording deal, Trainor's debut single, "All About That Bass" was released on June 30, 2014, and topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight non-consecutive weeks. The single became the longest-reigning number one by an Epic Records artist in the United States, surpassing the seven week record held by Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" (1983) and "Black or White" (1991).[3] It topped the national charts of 58 countries worldwide and became one of the best-selling singles of all-time with sales of over 6 million units internationally.[4][5]

"All About That Bass" was certified sextuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA),[6] and preceded Trainor's debut EP, Title (2014) which peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200 in September 2014.[7] On October 21, 2014, Trainor released her second single "Lips Are Movin" which attained a peak of number four on the Billboard Hot 100,[8] marking the singer's second consecutive top five single in the United States.[9] It was further certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song preceded Trainor's fourth studio album Title (2015), which replaced her EP of the same name.[7] Upon release, Title debuted atop the Billboard 200. "Dear Future Husband" was released as the third single from Title. It was certified Gold by the RIAA, and peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Trainor's third consecutive top 20 single.[10]
