Megasphaeroceras is an ammonite genus included in Sphaeroceratidae, a family of ammonoid cephalopods characterized by their sphaeroidal shells with markedly eccentric coiling, fine ribbing, and complex sutures, known from the lower middle Jurassic.[1]
