Meenangadi is a small town situated in Wayanad District,^[1] on the Western Ghats. Tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom are the main crops of this area. The valleys have large paddy fields. Meenangadi also has a Govt Polytechnic. The nearest railway station and airport are at Kozhikode, 76 km from Meenangadi.
