Medical Veritas, The Journal of Medical Truth, was a biannual medical journal published from 2004 to 2008, which was primarily focused on the alleged adverse effects of vaccines. According to its website, it "publishes data by independent researchers, as well as observations by parents and others". It also claims it "confronts dishonest and harmful medical practices by providing honest research, data, analyses and conclusions".[1] It offered to re-publish Andrew Wakefield's 1998 study after it was revealed to be a fraud in 2010.[2] The Medical Veritas Association is listed as a "questionable organization" by Quackwatch.[3] The editors-in-chief were Gary Goldman and Leonard Horowitz.[4]
HIV/AIDS denialism
The journal has also endorsed HIV/AIDS denialism, publishing a report by comparative pathologist Mohammed Al-Bayati alleging that Eliza Jane Scovill's death was caused not by AIDS but by an allergic reaction to amoxicillin.[5]
