Medical Design Excellence Awards

The Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) are awards for manufacturers of medical technology devices.^[1] The global competition accepts entries of finished medical devices or medical packaging products. A panel of jurors who are designers, engineers, and clinicians evaluate the entries for their design, engineering, and ergonomic excellence. It is directed by an interdepartmental team of UBM Canon staff.

Prizes are awarded in the following product categories:
