The Medford Free Public Library is located in Medford, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.[1] This library was designed by Hans Theodore Liebert (1877-1966).
History
The first library in Medford was operated by the local chapter of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union and the Medford Women's Club.[2] Later, they received a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York to construct a new library building.
