Medak (Lok Sabha constituency)
Medak Lok Sabha constituency (Telugu: మెదక్లో లోక సభ నియోజకవర్గం) is one of the 17 Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) constituencies in Telangana state in southern India.[1][2] Telangana first chief Minister, Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao won the Medak seat by a margin of 3.7 lakh votes,but he later vacated it.[3][4][5][6]
Its best-known MP was former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who was holding the seat when she was assassinated in 1984.
