Meda is an international specialty pharma company with its own sales organizations in close to 60 countries and operations expanding in growth markets. Meda is the 48th largest pharmaceutical company in the world. At the end of 2013, Meda had 3,062 employees, 1,914 of whom work in sales and marketing.

Sales and marketing activities are carried out via distributors in countries where Meda has no representation. Meda's pharmaceuticals are sold in more than 120 countries. Meda's product portfolio is divided into three main areas:
