McDroid is a tower defense video game developed by the independent studio Elefantopia.[1] The game uses cel shaded graphics.[2]
Gameplay
McDROID is a tough as nail Arcade Tower Defense inspired by the legendary RTYPE, it challenges both your trigger finger and your wits as you multitask like a genius: running, shooting, building your base, controlling defending, healing plants, harvesting, repairing, planting trees, upgrading and researching - all at the same time.
Story
McDROID returns home to Planet M and finds a message from SOMANTO corp (home of the whale dental bleaching laser, chromosomic DRM and Planetary Core Replacement Device) - and the planet is now a mess. Someone didn't read the fine prints. Now it is time for McDROID heal his beloved planet.
Release
Before its release, the developers sold pre-orders for the game that included access to a beta.[3] This beta was also sold as pay-what-you-want through IndieGameStand.[3]
