The Mayor of Hartlepool was the executive mayor of Hartlepool Borough Council in County Durham, England. The only man to hold the position was Stuart Drummond.
Drummond was first elected in 2002.[1] He was re-elected in 2005[2] and 2009, making him the first mayor in Britain to win a third term.[3] The office was abolished in May 2013 following a referendum of Hartlepool electors in November 2012.[4]
